Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) Environmental Public Health

The Boston WGBH was awarded an NIEHS grant to produce “Environmental Public Health,” a collection of media and lesson plans. They are excellent, lively short videos on numerous topics. This project was supported by Award Number RC1ES018084 from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.

The mission of the Environmental Working Group (EWG) is to use the power of public information to protect public health and the environment. EWG specializes in providing useful resources (like Skin Deep and the EWG's Shopper's Guide to Pesticides™) to consumers while simultaneously pushing for national policy change.

The Environmental Health Perspective (EHP)

The EHP is a monthly peer-reviewed journal of research and news published with support from National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and United States Department of Health and Human Services (U.S.HHS). The mission of EHP is to serve as a forum for the discussion of the inter-relationships between the environment and human health by publishing high-quality research and news of the field.
